Thanks for playing the Louis/Ella version of “Foggy Day in London” – it was perfect! I listened to it on a foggy night here in Seattle.
Also enjoyed Mary Hopkins “Those Were The Days” – a song that always made me sad when I heard it 50 years ago, and now I know why! “Ah, my friend we’re older but no wiser”! I believe the song was based on an old Yiddish “klezmer” melody!
Loved hearing “Cry Me A River” by Julie London!
Hope everyone had a great January!
My request for the next show is “On A Clear Day” by Lou Rawls.
Stay safe!
