I remember when the Capitol Steps did a parody of “Blame It On The Bossa-Nova” when the Mars Rover got lost, and stopped sending signals to Ground Control. They called it “Blame It On The Boss at NASA”!! Wish I could find a video of THAT song!
Was the vocal in “How High the Moon” Helen Forrest? Thanks for playing that, I love the chord changes in that song!
Thank you for the shout-out about my barbershop chorus – we just had our “Installation Dinner” today for our new Board members. By the way, Stef’s Sweet Adeline chorus is actually right there in NEW JERSEY! They are based in beautiful Ridgewood (Bergen County), right on the Boro line with Glen Rock. And they will be touring IRELAND in October – I’m going along to cheer them on!
Hope you are both feeling better soon!
Thanks Drew! I checked and you’re absolutely right – it was Helen Forrest on “How High the Moon.” And hopefully we’ll get to one of Steph’s NJ shows in the coming months. Thanks for listening!
