After it swings a little, this week’s show takes a walk on the cool side of the aisle, with music that will leave you wanting to sip a cocktail, or maybe even move with a samba kind of stride. Tune in and enjoy Mel Torme’, Tony Bennett, The Drifters, Nina Simone, Julie London, Benny Goodman, James Darren, Peggy Lee, Harry Connick Jr, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Ray Gelato, Antonio Carlos Jobim, even J Lo, and a whole lot more.
Thanks for listening, tell a friend, leave us a heart and your comments and requests for next week below. Have a great week!
Looking forward to your live show in the near future.
Hi Fig –
So are we! 🙂 Thanks for listening!
You two have made me a BIG fan of the Puppini Sisters! I feel like they are what the Andrews Sisters would have become, if they were still around! Also, I get a kick out of Jimmy Durante making “peanut gallery” comments about the piano part during the musical interludes of “Ink-a-Dink-a-Doo”, since I believe Mr. Durante himself was quite an accomplished pianist!
Hi Drew – I’m glad you’re listening and enjoyed the show!
