DJ Bob “Puttin’ on The Hits”

DJ Bob is the Real Deal.

He’s had the pleasure of interviewing and/or meeting Aretha, Johnny Rivers, Tommy James and the Shondells, Kenny Rogers, Barry Manilow, Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits, Kim Sledge of Sister Sledge, KC and the Sunshine Band, Peter Paul and Mary, Carly Simon, James Taylor, as well as Johnny and June Cash.

Feel free to contact him at djbobwmusic@gmail.com. Please let him know your thoughts about the shows, types of music you like, and your favorite songwriters and performers.

“Still Misbehaving”

Art (the one in the blue fedora) and Deb (the grumpy-looking one) spent ten years hosting a show on terrestrial radio.  Yes, at a real FM radio station, a small, non-profit community station.  But that’s not where it all started . .

Deb’s first time on radio was a regular gig at the age of fourteen, where she kept station listeners abreast of weather happenings in New York’s scenic Hudson Valley region. Now she stalks famous weather forecasters, manages a few websites, and writes a lot of marketing materials for small businesses.

No one can figure out how Art ever got on radio. Especially since he was kicked out of voice lessons.  Voice lessons that his mother paid for, as a gift for his 50th birthday.  Everyone tries to avoid that topic at family gatherings.

In his real life Art designs and installs some pretty nice kitchens. You can check them out at KitchensByArt.com.

“Fiddles & Fords”

I’m Debbie Sue, your host for great classic country music on “Fiddles & Fords.” A Nashville native who grew up right next door to the Grand Old Opry

Hi there. Polly here.

Yes, this is another one of my mom’s attempts at disguising her identity. Maybe she’s hiding from those G-men and revenuers. Or Bigfoot.

Who knows.

But, even though her cowboy hats are made of tin foil, she sure does know that classic country music. It could be because she has a pickup truck. Or maybe because she grew up listening to this stuff. And German marches.

Don’t ask . . .
