Thunder was rumbling and rain was falling during tonight’s broadcast. Which means it was a perfect time for some great swinging music, oldies, and lots of fun and frivolity.

Tonight’s show features The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Will Bradley, Tony Bennett, The Blues Brothers, Bobby Darin, Lena Horne, Pink Martini, Liza Minelli, Fred Astaire, Kay Kyser, a Double Shot of Sinatra, and a whole lot more.

    TERRIFIC SHOW ,KIDS! MANY THANKS FOR PLAYING MY REQUEST.. HEARING FRED ASTAIRE TAP DANCING REMINDED ME OF A RADIO SHOW WHEN I WAS A KID TITLED, “THE MAJOR BOWES AMAETHUR HOUR” .SO MANY OF THE CONTESTENTS WERE TAP DANCERS AND WE SAT AND LISTENED VERY ATTENTIVELY.IMAGINING THE PERFORMERS. …..IT WAS A WONDERFUL LIFE!
