This week’s episode is full of forgotten favorites that will have you dancing around your living room. Tune in and hear Benny Goodman’s “Sing, Sing, Sing,” from that famous 1938 Carnegie Hall concert. All twelve minutes of it. You’ll also get to hear Astrud Gilberto, Billy Eckstine, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Kay Kyser, Kay Starr, Tex Beneke, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennett, Linda Ronstadt, a Double Shot of Sinatra, Cab Calloway, The Slicked Up 9’s, and a whole lot more.
Leave your comments and requests for next week below. Favorite us, tell a friend, and thanks for listening!
PS: Our next LIVE show is Sunday, June 25th, at 7:00 pm, EST
Not to be picky, but Lake Sunapee, NH is pronounced “SUN-uh-pee”. I only know, because my friend, Kevin grew up there! The name comes from the Algonquin words for “goose” (suna) and “water” (apee). Also, Multnomah County (of which Portland, Oregon is the County Seat) is pronounced “mult-NO-muh”. It is named for Chief Multnomah of the Willamette Tribe.
I would like to request Ray Charles 1962 version of “You Don’t Know Me”

Hi, Art and Deb. Thank you for another GREAT show. No, I did not know the mystery singer. But I LOVED the Jimmy Durante dedication. I don’t feel like a nobody, as Jimmy sang, because I have such GREAT FRIENDS as the two of you! (smile). I know that it is a bit late, by the time you read this, but Art, I hope you had a GREAT Father’s day. Until next week, Sunday @ 7 PM… Howie, Mooch, and Faith
